It's a Wetherspoons. It's what you'd expect from a Wetherspoons in terms of food, range of drinks, staff, etc. It's nicely laid out, with plenty of room around tables so you don't feel squashed in at busier times.
Toilets are invariably clean, and the drinks are generally cheap.
Where it does everything you expect from a pub, it just seems to be a bit flat; missing the jovial ambinece you'd expect from a busy pub on a busy main road. -

Your usual Wetherspoons fayre and attracting a mixed clientele from the Norton Woodseats area. You're probably less likely to see trouble in this Wetherspoons than anywhere else seeing as it has a Police station bang opposite.
The staff seem to be fairly decent, the food is standard and it seems a decent enough place to spend the evening chatting. -

Average suburban Wetherspoons. The food is the normal Wetherspoons quality - meaning it can vary from good to extremely poor on a daily basis.
During the day the clientelle are usually groups of older retired men or older couples and at night the crowd is mixed. Still, there isn't much of an atmosphere and I wouldn't really recommend it as anything other than a place to get a cheap drink and meal. -

It's a typical wetherspoons, but without the troubles, food is the standard boil in the bag microwaveable nonsene but they do have good beer range, which is normally pretty good quality, although pulling technique is hugely varied. The staff are generally ok, with the odd exception but as they rotate so much you don't see the bad ones too often. They've taken away the sofa's but it's still a decent night out.
